Veteran midfielder Jennie Bimson has been forced to withdraw from the Great Britain squad due to a torn calf muscle.
The 31-year-old has been a fixture in the England and Great Britain team for nearly a decade, and has amassed over 190 combined appearances for England and Great Britain.
She will be replaced in the squad by exciting 20 year old Scot Laura Bartlett.
The replacement of Laura Bartlett with Jennie Bimson has been approved by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
